The brothers found their niche

Over the years they have been fortunate to draw on the experience of Jim Taylor. Jim is a highly acclaimed winner of “Boat Of The Year” designer a stunning six times!

The award is presented by Cruising World and Sailing World magazines.

Attention to detail is observed through out the line. Top of the range hardware is standard. The finished product does not feel like an inadequate trailer sailor. Centerboards are used in 15 and 185 design dinghies, whilst the larger models have lead keels.

High quality

The brothers along with Jim Taylor take pride in using the highest quality products . In order for the boats to perform in stronger winds, lead is used for it’s high density. This means although heavy, the keel is smaller and so less cumbersome than others. Less below the waterline is key to the equation.

Stability

The P18, P 21 and P23 series is where the keel boat meets the centerboard. The benefits of the keel boat being stability, join the functionality of the Dacron line, which controls the centerboard.

Americas Cup

Stability is maintained across the range by balancing the waterline beam and deck beams. The cockpits are surprisingly roomy for a vessel designed for trailing.

The market for these craft is day sailing. Whether it be a fun family focused affair, or a first owning experience. The combined background of Bill and Richard Porter is measured in hundreds of years and course Jim Taylor’s with the Americas Cup program helps too!
