Beneteau Yachts Broadening The Horizon Of Your Dreams

The objectives of Beneteau yachts are as follows:

  • To place the larger and newer products at the heart of communications
  • To communicate the DNA of the brand:

“Broadening the horizons of your dreams”

Throughout it’s history the builder has coordinated with premium world known designers. This has aided in their brand strength. Hands up who doesn’t want their sailboat designed by an award winning Americas Cup designer? Farr, Briand, Nauta and Berret Racoupeau all bring different attributes to the table. These leading names ensure that visitors and customers have peace of mind.

We have talked about the newest projects being at the heart of communications. Before discussing those let’s begin with the first two aspects of sailing the French company has been involved with.

Remember that before the start feel? Exciting!

Remember that before the start feel? Exciting!

One Design

There are three types of Beneteau One Design:

  • Figaro, designed by Marc Lombard for the Figaro owners class
  • The 25′ which complies with the international class rule
  • The First 36.7, designed by Farr, inspired by the global success of the First 40.7. Voted ten best boats by Sailing Magazine

The One Design brings together like minded sailors. They all want to race, precisely the same mono type. The distinguishing factor separating the fleet being tactics, skill and seamanship. These racing vessels are designed for cutting edge performance, competitiveness and to class specifications.

Cruising

Classy cruising is defined in the First range of craft. For over thirty years the bar has been raised in conjunction with the industry’s leading designers.

The theme throughout the series is:

  • comfort and safety
  • maximized cockpit space, with attention to safety including trip hazards

Below decks the layout is elegant and practical. The lines of the range are clean, plus the hull designs incorporate maximum waterline length, increasing performance.

The following Firsts were designed by Farr:

  • 21.7, 26.7, 27.7
  • 31.7, 34.7, 36.7

Oceanis

The Oceanis range of Beneteau yachts is elegant and for all types of cruising these sailboats are designed by Nauta and Finot Conqet et Associes. Wood worked throughout and well fitted out they are a step up in comfort and innovation.

Designs include:

  • 31
  • 34
  • 37

And these by Berret/Racoupeau:

  • 40
  • 43
  • 46

Super Yachts

The third category is designed by Briand. Both the 45.7 and 50.7 are thoroughbreds. After the success of the 50.7, the 45.7 was soon to follow. Customers were enticed by the performance, elegance and even testerone concept of these super yachts. The concept is encapsulates, bold, strength and speed. State of the art technologies and processes are borrowed to enhance these two cutting edge designs.
