Inflatable Rafts - When All Else Fails

When inflatable rafts are used, the situation demands that they are reliable. A well maintained craft will offer protection for the environment when you most need it. If there are emergency provisions already packed within, then you can survive for long periods of time. It is best if you have a EPIRB as well. This will let all ships about know your position.

These emergency craft are gas canister operated. They fill quickly. To get in once filled, use the blow up ramp provided for easy access. Once everyone is inside then you can pull this up and stop water getting in. As the sides of the craft slope inwards to a point, the shape of a cone is made. This shape is stable and provides shelter fro the sea and rain.

Wait out for rescue to arrive.
