Sizing Up New Chartplotters

Chartplotters come in several formats. From planning your navigation on your personal computer in the comfort of your home to getting up to the minute data whilst on the water.

<<>>They come with budgets and features a plenty. Marine cartography is in full color which is still visible in strong sun light. This means when on deck you can still see what you need. And in the dark as well!

By inserting data cards either preprogrammed or self programmed you can have all the waypoints you'll ever need at your finger tips. If your planning a trip outside of the range of the gadget then remember to get the data card for the area your sailing - or you'll fall off the map!

Batteries come in lithium format to save on weight. When charged they can be used for over ten hours, but that depends on the back light setting. Also you can access tide tables plus celestial tables for sun and moon calculations. With the bracket attachment you can holster them within the cockpit saving trips down below.
