Boat Tracks And The Part Played

<<>>Most exposed part of a yacht's equipment. The boat tracks is either set aft - behind the helmsman or centrally within the cockpit. Design has helped in reducing the size of components and making them more durable too. This means crews are less likely to trip over the track. Which is a relief!

The tract on which the mainsail halyards are secured is usually made from extruded Aluminum. Depending on the craft design, there are a variety of options available: Beam, drilled or standard 32 mm. Manufacturers offer either standard or heavy durability. Each end of the traveler there is an end fitting. These stop the pulley from being damage.

Often called the traveler, the track supports pulley cars which are designed to maximize efficiency for cruisers and racers alike.
